It all started with a 10-year old girl whose scalp had been through too much.
Stress, eczema, a new school, the loss of her grandfather — it all showed up where she was most vulnerable: her edges and fragile crown.

As her mother and a scientist, I couldn’t just watch it happen. I dove into research, blended knowledge of modern clinical actives with time-honored textured scalp rituals, and created the first formulas right in our kitchen.

What began as a way to soothe my daughter’s inflamed scalp and restore her confidence soon became something bigger. Friends saw her results. They wanted to try it. Then their friends did too.

And so Scalp Retreat™ was born: a brand that’s more than just hair products.
